Derelict To me derelict is really fun when you get a bunch of people all crowded together in there. One fun thing to do is: derelict, always invisible, rockets, no motion sensor. That gametype makes a very interesting twist. especially when you can't see your opponents, and when you fire a rocket your as good as dead. Great fun. Anyway. One thing about this level is you want to play with people that won't whine about small levels, because this one is pretty much as small as they come. When playing here, you may want to have blue or black armor, and stay in the shadows. And make sure to run by and pick up the over shield and the active camo as often as you can spare. The active camo in particular is very useful. Mostly because of there are plenty of dark places to hide (which makes it just about impossible to spot you), and since the level is so small you are bound to run into PLENTY of people before it runs out. The shotgun and rocket launcher rule this level. One hiding place that has always been particularly useful is right on the sides of the upper exits for the teleporters. Hiding here is bound to get you many a kill. But remember: once you've killed someone that came out of the teleporters a couple of times... their bound to catch on. So hide there only for short periods, and at random times. Because no matter how many times someone has died that way... their bound to get sloppy and forget that experiance. They always do. And don't forget that health: it has saved me many times. Longest Although I haven't played longest all that many times... i'll tell you what I know. When running around in here, running strait down the path can be dangerous if your not quick and careful. You can save yourself time and trouble at getting to those power-ups by blowing them off with grenades. The blast will throw them off their hiding spots. The needler, rocket launcher, and shotgun are VERY useful here. Especially the needler. Since the area cannot get any more like a path... it makes the perfect place to pump someone full of them. The rocket launcher is perfect because when someone fires it at you... it's kind of hard to dodge it. And the area is small enough that the delay that it takes for the rocket to get to the target doesn't matter. The shotgun has the power to take them down in one shot if given the chance, the area is small enough that you'll be encountering people at close range ALOT. So the shotgun is very useful. That's most that there is to know. Wizard Wizard can be fun when you have other players that don't whine. And alot of people will whine. Mostly because of it's size. The most frustrating thing about this level would have to be the fact that pretty much no matter where you are: your vulnerable. There is just about no place to hide here. I have yet to find any good places to hide. Another complaint is that it tends to be annoying to have to go up and down ramps and ladders to get around. One thing about this level that you can really use to your advantage is that there are plenty of ways to evade your enemies. There may not be any places to hide... but there are plenty of places to run. When being persuied: you can go into a teleporter, run up one of the ladders and grab a health and some other goodies, you can run up the ramp and jump off when they're not looking. One thing about this level is make damn sure to plunder the resources. Prisoner One thing that's interesting about prisoner is that it has three levels... more than the others. This area is filled with ladders and ramps. One VERY important thing to remember is that the shotgun and the rocket launcher rule this level. The sniper rifle is pretty useful too. In this level the rocket launcher is bound to disappear anytime it appears. The best thing that you can do in this level is grab the rocket launcher and an active camo. The combination of the two are the most deadly combonation that you'll find in this level. Another effective way to kill people is to snag the sniper rifle and hide in the sniper roost. This is even better when invisible. In this level the last thing that you want to do is run out onto one of the path crossing the map. Only do this if absolutely necessary. In this area about the best thing to do is grab a good weapon... and sit and wait. Constantly running around is a bad thing because it's kind of hard to stay hidden when your moving around in here. Oh, and the over shield on the second level can be pretty useful during close encounters also. Rat Race Rat race is fun for FFA, oddball, and CTF. When someone has the ball, it's quite literally a rat race. It get fun when your chasing someone, they go around a corner, you get to that corner, and... their gone!!! Then it becomes a rat race. You have to sniff out the path that the rat took.
